女，理学博士，研究方向为海洋-大气相互作用，从事ENSO形成机理、西太平洋暖池变异、西太台风气候变异等方面的研究工作。主要包括：发现了西太平洋暖池20世纪90年代经向扩张现象，指出这种扩张现象的热力机制。揭示不同类型的厄尔尼诺事件衰减期对西北太平洋台风的不同影响，并指出其可能的物理机制。研究暖池模拟和环流模拟的关系，发现环流模拟偏差在暖池模拟偏差中的主导作用。已发表科研论文10余篇，主持国家自然科学基金1项，完成国家自然科学基金1项，骨干参与重点研发专项1项。
